58 years of independence
Official logo of Benin’s National Day
In 2018, I was selected among several designers to create the visual identity for the 58th anniversary of Benin’s independence. It marked the first time in over two decades that the Presidency sought to develop a truly representative logo for the national celebration. With only three days to conceptualize and present a new vision, I delivered three proposals, one of which was selected for best capturing the spirit of the nation.

The objective was to create a minimal, timeless, and instantly recognizable symbol, one capable of transcending the event and embedding itself in the collective memory. This honorary project led to a personal phone call from President Patrice Talon to offer his congratulations, and opened the door to a range of further rewarding opportunities.
I am deeply grateful to the entire Communications Department of the Presidency for their trust. Today, this logo, reused across multiple national celebrations remains one of my greatest sources of pride.
